This is a video I made during my internship at Metro Caring. Metro Caring is a nonprofit organization that focuses on bringing culturally relevant and nutritious food to those who are struggling, while also tackling the root cause of hunger: poverty.
The following video is a meant to advertise and bring awareness to a whole cow fundraiser that Metro Caring was doing in order to provide a whole cow’s worth of meat to their Fresh Foods Market (around 450lbs of meat!)
This video was shown posted alongside the fundraiser for the whole cow as well as posted on the Metro Caring YouTube channel and front page of the Metro Caring website.
This is a video I made for my internship at Towards Justice. Towards Justice is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fighting for workers’ rights. TJ dedicates themselves to not only fighting against worker exploitation in Colorado, but across the country.
This long form video we made together talks about the various rights that workers’ have in the workplace and how to identify if these rights have been violated.
This video is now able to be shown to any potential clients that Towards Justice will take on and serves as an educational video that lives on the homepage of their website as well.
This is a video I made for a class at the University of Denver (DU). The class was called producing video for social media and this was our first assignment. The assignment entailed producing a “social media style video that DU might use to showcase your life as a student, resident, athlete, etc.”
The story I wanted to capture for my experience at DU was the intense stress that I was experiencing as a first generation college student. Having the schools’ grading system attached to my phone made it impossible to escape the intense pressure that comes with being First Gen and it was a story that needed to be told.
This is a compilation of the video edits that I did when I was first learning how to combine storytelling, editing, and my personal interests.
These edits allowed me to expand my knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and helped me build strong lifelong friendships with people in these online communities.
